My 365 project is evolving again. My project began October 16 with a plan to just use my iPhone for all photos. While it lasted, it was a great learning tool, but I grew out of it and found that I needed to focus on the capabilities of my DSLR.
My life, needs and focus has changed again. I’ve been struggling with keeping my 365 going because it seems to be conflicting with my other objectives, specifically that of making a living. I’m trying to make photography a key part of my future income by building an iStock portfolio. So each day I try to work on the photography for my portfolio, while trying to keep in mind that I have a 365 photo due.
From here on out I plan on trying to combine these two objectives into one. Why haven’t I don’t this earlier?…the main reason is that the photos in my portfolio are for sale and I hesitate to put large version of these photos on my website.
This photo was taken at the iStock event I attended in early May. I finished the processing of it today. I feel like a major part of the photography process is the processing portion, so I may include photos from either of these two categories in my future 365.
