I am
an artist, maker, writer, programmer, father of two, husband, brother, son.
I have
a camera within reach almost all the time and enjoy pointing it at things I want to remember.
I enjoy
listening to music and books. But sometimes I just like silence so that I can hear myself think.
I work
as a programmer for a corporate payments company.
I play
guitar, HEX: Shards of Fate, Minecraft, D&D, various other games and piano.
I buy
too much junk, i.e. gadgets and electronics.
I love
my wife and kids, my weird cat, Abby, my dog, when it rains, dramatic clouds, mountains, making things, making people laugh, learning new things, teaching, eating out, Dr. Pepper, artichokes, traveling to new places, returning home.
I speak
Japanese somewhat fluently.
I make
circuit boards, things out of wood, handmade paper, books, sushi…but mostly, a big mess.
I believe
in a soul, that all people are created equal, I can fly (metaphorically).
I suffer
from insomnia, restless leg syndrome, chronic depression, countless insecurities, middle age weight gain, allergies, night-time cookie cravings.
I wish
I could work from home, travel the world, have the time to explore all my interests, always be happy.
I want
to make a dent in the universe.
Hi James,
I happened to run across your website recently. Nice.
Glad to see you are still being creative since we last spoke about 20 years ago.
